At Risk Counselor

My name is Kelsey Patterson-Hall, Counselor and Intervention Lead. One of my goals this year at Lincoln is to promote community building. As the Intervention Lead I am a resource and support for the teachers and students. However, I would also like to be a resource and support for the caregivers of our students. Building community will help us create a strong foundation and foster a healthy learning environment.

Resources for Caregivers

-AUSD Family Involvement and Community Engagement Programs- They offer various  workshops and educational conversations.  For example, in previous years they showed documentaries such as “ANGST” and “Adolescent Sleep and Mindfulness”.

-Alameda Family Services- A non-profit that offers a variety of therapeutic services. They offer family therapy and the first session is free for AUSD families. In addition, we are excited to share that we will be getting a therapist from Alameda Family Services at Lincoln twice a week to provide group counseling.

-Join the PTA- It is a great way to know other parents and become involved in the Lincoln community.

-Volunteer- Come volunteer at Lincoln. It is a great way to build community and get to know staff and students.
