Walk and Roll

What is the Walk and Roll Committee?
The Walk and Roll Committee at Lincoln is designed to promote safe walking and rolling to school to increase safety and reduce the number of vehicles on campus during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
Who are we?
Parent volunteers, LMS students, and school staff working together.
In the 2017 -2018 school year, Walk and Roll efforts are again supported by the Alameda County Safe Routes to School program.
What do we do?
The Walk and Roll hallmark event is Walk & Roll to School Day, celebrated by hundreds of schools internationally in October each year.  This year's Walk and Roll day featured smoothies made by students using a pedal-powered blender, a DJ on the blacktop with music and dancing, healthy treats before school, and a raffle with prizes donated by local merchants.
